Welcome to the ‘Nanoparticles in Environment and Medical Research’ EuropeAid-funded Action, aimed at significantly enhancing the research and innovation capacity of Kosovo, with a focus on priority areas of Environment and Medical Research.
Through carefully planned activities, this project is designed to ensure that Kosovo researchers, including diverse women and men, acquire knowledge and critical research skills in the priority areas. Our goal is to establish UP as an important regional and international research center for environment and nanomedicine research.
With the support of the European Commission, this project will lead to increased collaborations and links between Kosovo research institutions and European research institutions. Additionally, it will improve research management and administration skills of UP and establish research infrastructure to enable research in priority areas.

The research output will contribute to reducing the harmful effects of environmental pollution on public health, promoting the Green Agenda and improving preventive healthcare, diagnosis, therapeutic treatments, and development and use of new medical technologies.
